You’ve Finished Your Programme and Passed Your Examinations with Flying Colours. So How Do You Get Your Certificates and Diplomas?
Your certificates and diplomas prove to employers and other institutions that you have successfully completed your programme and hold the skills and knowledge to enter the industry. Here’s more information to help you about when you get your certificates and how to replace them if they get lost or damaged.

The Ways to Get Your Certificates and Diplomas
Attend graduation.
- You should ensure you have a ticket to attend (if required).
- International certificates and diplomas (ITEC) are not available at graduation. You will need to arrange to pick these up or have them sent out to you.

When to Get Your Certificates If You Don’t Finish in June or December
Certificates for ākonga / students who did not finish their programme in June or December will be available for pick-up form the National School of Aesthetics offices. Your results letter will list an approximate date when your certificates will be ready for pick-up.
You must make an appointment before picking them up.
You are more than welcome to attend graduation as well. Please contact a member of the operations team from 1 June onwards for programme ending in June or 1 December onwards for programme ending in December for further information.
We do not, under any circumstances, automatically send out certificates.
When to Get Your Certificates If You Don’t Attend Graduation
Certificates for ākonga / students who did not attend graduation will be available for pick-up form the National School of Aesthetics offices when they are open.
You cannot gain your certificates before the graduation is held.
You must make an appointment before picking them up.
We do not, under any circumstances, automatically send out certificates.
Requirements When Picking Up Your Certificates
If You Are Picking Up Your Certificates
You must have made an appointment to pick up your certificates.
You must show up at the allotted time in order to pick up your certificates.
If you do not make an appointment, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to assist you immediately.
If Someone Is Picking Up Your Certificates For You
You must have made an appointment for this person to pick up your certificates for you.
You must supply a signed letter stating:
- The name of the person picking up the certificates
- That you give that person permission to pick up those certificates on your behalf
- Your name
- Your signature
- The date you signed the letter
The person picking up your certificates will need proof of identity (Drivers License preferred) with their photograph and name on it in order to complete this.
The school accepts no liability in damages that occur once the certificates are handed over to the third party.
Requirements For Sending Out Your Certificates
You will need to contact the school for the price to courier your certificates out.
You will then need to supply the following:
- A letter or email with with:
- Your name
- Full address of where you want the certificates couriered to
- Payment for the courier fees
- A statement saying you understand the school is not liable for any damages that may occur in transport
- Your signature (or email address matching your email address on file)
- The date you signed the letter (letter only)
Once this is received in full, we will then courier your certificates out.
Time Limit to Pick Up Certificates
If your certificates are not picked up within 6 months from the graduation date (or date received by the international governing body), the certificates will be destroyed.
You will be responsible for any replacement fees on certificates destroyed under these circumstances.
Having Lost or Damaged Certificates Replaced
Lost School Certificates
If your certificates are lost or damaged, and you wish to have them replaced, you would need to download, fill out and submit, with payment, the Qualification Reprint Form.
We will then check the information you have supplied with the register we hold.
If everything has been done correctly, we will then print the certificates at the next available printing cycle. This is normally with another batch of certificates.

If Your Name Has Changed
If your legal name has changed, or if you wish us to print your certificates in a different name to the name in which they were previously issued, you will need to supply us with proof of the change in name. If by deed-poll, this would need to be that document. If through marriage, we would need to see the marriage certificate.
Lost International Certificates and Diplomas
If your international (ITEC, CIBTAC, CIDESCO) certificates are lost or damaged, and you wish to have them replaced, you would need to contact the international governing body directly to have your certificates replaced. We cannot do this for you.
When International Certificates Become Available
For ITEC and CIBTAC, international certificates usually arrive approximately 2 to 3 weeks after international results are received.
For CIDESCO, international certificates usually arrive approximately 6 weeks after your letter and evidence of 600 documented work hours are sent.
We neither notify you nor send your certificates out automatically when they arrive. It is your responsibility to make arrangements to pick-up your certificates or have them sent out, as per the policies and procedures on this page.
