As a Part of Your Programme, You May Perform Treatments on Paying Members of the Public During Clinic Days at The National School of Aesthetics
Members of the public can receive beauty treatments and nail treatments for reduced prices on ākonga / student clinic days through our ākonga / student clinic, Absolute Aesthetics. The money from the clinic days helps pay for the products the ākonga / students use in their programme.
Throughout the year, days, times and treatments available may vary as there are different classes at various stages of the training.
Appointments are necessary.
No walk-in clients accepted.
To make an appointment, call us on (03) 366-5037 during office hours.
Please note: we are closed during school holidays.

Parking on-campus is limited, so please schedule enough time before your appointment so you can find parking on Antigua Street or one of the streets surrounding our campus. This ensures you can arrive to your appointment on-time.
Due to the cycleway on Antigua Street, parking spaces have been significantly reduced on that street. You may need to park further down on Antigua Street or on a side street, and walk to our campus.
As we are a training establishment, we have no child-minding facilities, so please make arrangements for your children and minors to be looked after off-campus. People who bring children and minors to campus may be turned away.
The Benefits of Treatment
Beauty therapy and complementary therapy treatments have many benefits both seen and felt by the client and others. For example:
- A facial massage can send a client into the most relaxing states of mind (even more refreshing than a full night’s sleep).
- A pedicure, including a foot and lower leg massage, can increase circulation as well as reduce stress in the legs and feet, the latter of which carries one of the highest levels of stress in the human body.
- A body massage increases circulation and relieves tension in the body.
- The results from the majority of treatments can make a person feel better about him- or herself and encourage him or her to take better care of him- or herself.
If you have any questions about how a certain treatment can benefit you, please contact us, and we endeavour to help you as best we can.
How to Book an Appointment
We encourage you to contact us during office hours to schedule an appointment.
Please try to make bookings at least 48 hours in advance to avoid disappointment. If you have made a booking and need to cancel, please do so in as far advance as possible; otherwise, you will be charged for the scheduled appointment you have made. No-shows will be billed accordingly.
The well-being of our ākonga / students is paramount to us, and if it becomes apparent the health or well-being of an ākonga / student may be threatened by a client, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. If the health or well-being of an ākonga / student is threatened prior to, during, or after the treatment, the client will be asked to pay for the treatment, leave the premises in an orderly manner and will not be able to rebook.
We respectfully request you do not bring your children along to your appointment. Please leave them with a caregiver off-campus. We reserve the right to cancel your appointment if you arrive with a child.
To make an appointment, call us on (03) 366-5037 during office hours.
Please note: we are closed during school holidays.
Visitor Requirements for Clinic Day
Bringing Children, Minors or Other People on Clinic Day
We respectfully request you do not bring your children along to your appointment.
Please leave them with a caregiver off-campus.
We reserve the right to cancel your appointment if you arrive with a child.
For health and safety measures, please let other people wait in your car or perform another errand off-campus.
Parking for Visitors on Clinic Day
The school’s carpark has a limited amount of parking spaces, so you may not be able to park in the carpark on clinic day.
Visitors can park on the streets surrounding the school.
Arriving Before or On Time
Visitors should arrange to arrive before their scheduled appointment time.
This allows the visitors time to find a carpark, walk to the school, check-in, and complete any pre-treatment preparations like completing a consultation with you.
Visitor Requirements
All visitors to The National School of Aesthetics:
- Must sign in using the visitor’s register on reception (unless instructed otherwise)
- Should wear an appropriate mask if they have any cold-like or flu-like symptoms, no matter how mild.
Please do not visit our campus if you have:
- Tested positive for COVID-19 within 5 days of your visit; or
- Tested positive for COVID-19, are beyond the 5 days of suggested isolation, and still have COVID-like symptoms.
We do:
- Highly encourage everyone to be immunized against COVID-19 for their own protection and to protect others.
- Welcome mask use for visitors who wish to wear one; however, please be advised you may need to remove them for some treatments.
Gift Certificates
You can purchase gift certificates through the clinic or school. Either a treatment (like a pedicure) or an amount (like $35NZ) can be purchased.
Please contact the school for further information on gift certificates. We do not have the facilities to accept on-line purchases, but we can accept both physical and phone purchases.
Clinic Day Price List
You can download the Adobe PDF file Clinic Day Price List for further information on prices of treatments.
The terms and conditions of treatment are listed on the back of our Clinic Day Price List. Please familiarise yourself with them and if you have any questions or concerns about any area, please feel free to contact us during our office hours, and we will endeavour to assist you as best as we can.
Please note: The times listed on the Clinic Day Price List are the maximum time the treatment should take; in many instances, the treatment will take a shorter period of time. For example, the price list states 90 minutes for a facial, but this usually takes approximately 60 minutes to complete the treatment. As we are a training facility, we list maximum times so you are not inconvenienced if an ākonga / student therapist takes slightly longer to perform your treatment.
Further Questions
If you have further questions, please contact us during our office hours, and we’ll endeavour to assist as best as we can.
Thank you for your interest, and we hope to see you in the clinic soon!
